One way of enhancing your personal website, blog or other projects is by using a tileable background pattern. The advantage of using a tileable background pattern is its smaller file size which make your site load faster on any browser than by using a big picture as your background image. There's a lot of sites offering free tileable background patterns that you can use and you can even find online generators where you have the luxury of making one on your own. If you find one that suits your fancy just right click on it and save it to your computer. Below you'll find a small instruction on how to use it as your background image for your personal site.

Instruction:
- Right click on any image and save it to your computer.
- Find a free host for the image of your choice like Photobucket. Upload it and get the link.
- Edit your css then add this line to the element you want to place your background :
background-image: url("link to your image.gif");
Then save your changes.
- The image will then fill the area creating a background.
